ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Isabella Roman and I am a multi-media artist based in St. Augustine, Florida.
My concentrations include drawing, painting, photography and design. I graduated from UNF with an associate's degree in Fine Arts and am currently (as of late 2025) nearing completion of a technical certification towards Graphic Design Production at FSCJ. I have had my works displayed in both UNF's Lufrano Intercultural Gallery and Yellow House Art Gallery as part
of student shows. My art focuses mainly on themes of sensitivity, obsession, nostalgia,
and oneness with nature. I capture life not as it is, but instead by how it affects me.

Ever since I was a young child, I had a compulsion to draw. My desire to take art seriously came about in middle school when I would copy flowers from botany books. For the past ten years I have been building a rich inner world with an atmosphere all its own. While my style is not particularly realistic, I believe it's clear to my viewers that I have a keen eye
for detail. All of my drawings feature bold and decisive linework. My photographs focus
on texture, color and depth. Clients who are looking for work that is humanistic, lush,
and exciting come to me with their ideas. I love talking to people about their visions
and bringing them to life through my unique approach.
